An opportunity for those who live in the locality of the church to meet and have a meal together once a fortnight. All are welcome , there are no restrictions as to age, sex, race or creed. As the meals are prepared by a group of church volunteers, the food is freshly prepared and comprises a choice from soup, toasted sandwiches, jacket potatoes with various fillings available, filled baps and salad accompaniments. All at a very reasonable cost.
The Pop-In Club takes place in the church hall
Health and safety regulations are adhered to, and all the volunteers have certificates in food hygiene.
Once a year there is a special Christmas Pop-In which is so popular it has to be a ticket only event. After the lunch, the diners go into the church and a local school choir (Park Hall Primary School Chamber choir) entertain them with a selection of music including carols in which everyone is invited to join.
